We have been coming here for almost 2 years with our corgi puppy and love it! Every member of the staff is always so kind and patient with whatever concerns we have had. You can truly tell how much love they have for every animal that walks through the door, and our dog is always so excited to come visit because he knows he is getting lots of cuddles/treats! Thank you to everyone working here for always making it a great experience!!

Took my kitty in today and loved it there! The staff was so friendly and happy to answer all the questions I had. They took the time to help me practice her aftercare routine. I never waited more than 10 minutes for anything, even testing, but never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend!

I have a rescue pup that has severe anxiety and has always been fearful of the vet. I met Dr Mallory Wilkommen at an event and she suggested we bring our pup in for a "get to know you" visit. Her clinic staff were amazing with our dog! It is the ONLY clinic he has been too in 9 years where he is happy and relaxed to be there. The entire staff is dedicated to fear free practices and working with the owners to provide the best experience possible for the pet. They have had some very creative solutions over the past few years to our dogs fear and anxiety. I couldn't be happier! As a dog trainer and owner of Milwaukee Paws Pet Care, I would highly recommend Downtown Veterinary Clinic.

my little guy was experiencing severe constipation that was causing a massive obstruction in his body. I was fully preparing myself to lose him. I could tell right from the jump that the entire staff was prepared to give Draco their best effort to save his life & remove the obstruction. I am so grateful they helped him. He’s the happiest he’s ever been! These guys are the best :) they truly care and are willing to go the extra mile.

I originally started going here because I followed Dr. V from her previous location. She is the best ever and saved my cat's life. I love the way she thinks. She's not the typical doctor that just goes with the average course of treatment. She talks it through and comes up with a plan unique to your pet. And she's a great listener and doesn't just try to rush you off the phone or out of the office. I truly love her. Once I started visiting this office regularly, I've seen that the rest of the staff is the same. I'm still getting to know the staff but so far everyone is really kind and truly cares about their patients and will take their time to listen and make sure all of your questions and concerns are addressed.

Helpful and kind staff, was able to get my cat in quick for an urgent eye issue even though we weren’t established patients. They let you know the pricing before treatment is administered, it seemed on par with other city vets. They also offered to get my cat up to date with routine bloodwork and vaccinations which I appreciated since previous vets hadn’t mentioned he was overdue. Looking forward to continuing our cats’ care here!

I love Downtown Vret! The vet and the tech were both so gentle with our 10 month old kitten. The person at the front office actually retrieved our kitten hiding under a heavy piece if furniture. I would recommend this veterinary to anyone!

I’ve been a client at Downtown Veterinary Clinic since April 2023, when I moved to Milwaukee from New York City with my Cavalier King Charles lady. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to her that October. During that heartbreaking time, we received the most compassionate end-of-life care; sensitive, gentle, and deeply respectful of both her and us. The team helped her cross the rainbow bridge peacefully in our arms, and I’ll always be grateful for that kindness. More recently, our new family member, a Papillon-Chihuahua mix, became ill and I had to rush her in. The staff saw her promptly, clearly explained all treatment options, and offered two financial pathways so we could make an informed decision. I truly appreciated how transparent and considerate both the doctor and technician were throughout the visit. I look forward to continuing my pup’s care with Downtown Vet Clinic. Their professionalism, empathy, and communication make them an exceptional team I trust wholeheartedly.
